Gareth joined DC Consulting in January 2023 as a Corporate Finance Analyst having trained, and gaining ACCA qualification, with BDO LLP in Edinburgh.
After leaving school, Gareth attended The Sharks Academy (in South Africa) for 3 and a half years; whilst playing rugby, he completed his BCom Marketing & Management Degree. On completion of his degree, Gareth received the opportunity to come to Scotland to play rugby; after a couple years of playing in Scotland, Gareth combined sport with furthering his professional qualifications and completed the AAT qualification, which led to his role and experience with BDO LLP, dealing with a myriad of clients in all aspects of financial reporting and auditing.
Gareth is an avid lover of sport, with rugby being at the centre; in his spare time, he has a strong passion for mountain biking, motorbiking and the gym.
